JH Oral Interp

On Monday, April 11th the Henry Junior High Oral Interp team traveled to Florence for their first meet.

They participated in three rounds of competition with students from other area schools and were critiqued by a different judge each round. Students picked pieces to work on and perform. Pieces can come from a wide variety of different genres including humor, drama, poetry, oratory, storytelling and duet. This year our team decided to perform three different duets. Henry students who participated in this meet included Ashlyn Angermier, Shaydin Reuer, Ada Rider, Aleeah Green, Xaviah Smith and Aanya Fuller.

Ashlyn and Shaydin received a superior on their duet, Xaviah Smith and Aleeah Green received a superior plus in their duet and Ada Rider and Aanya Fuller also received a superior plus on their duet.
