Wondering "Why Henry?"
Let's hear from the Scott Family.
"The staff and teachers at Henry are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and truly care about the kids and their families. Mrs. Nerison went above and beyond to ensure we felt comfortable and informed throughout the year. She consistently communicated what was happening in the classroom and shared tons of wonderful pictures that helped us feel connected to Maren's day-to-day experience.
What really stood out was the extra effort she made to support Maren's speech development. Mrs. Nerison shared helpful learning materials, tips, and tricks that made a noticeable difference-- Maren's speech improved so much thanks to her guidance and encouragement.
Every day at drop-off and pick-up, we were greeted by name and with a warm smile. It's clear that this is more than just a school-- it's a community. We absolutely love Henry and can't wait for year two!"

Wondering "Why Henry?"
Let's ask the Sigurdson family!
"A few reasons we chose Henry:
- So close to our home!
- Teachers that go above and beyond, always caring as if it were their own children
- 4-day school weeks give us extra family time
- Other parents are always so willing to connect and get to know each other in order to create more opportunities and memories for our children together
In the last two years, we have been displaced from our home twice due to weather events. Both times, teachers, parents, and students came through for our girls, showing them unbelievable kindness and support during very trying times. We have the utmost respect and gratitude for our school! Thank you so very much to each and every one of you from the bottom of our hearts!"
Thank you, Sigurdson family, for choosing Henry & sharing your wonderful girls with us!

Mother Nature may have canceled Field Day, but Mrs. LeBlanc and Mrs. Fox made sure the fun didn’t stop! The kids had an awesome afternoon filled with glow bowling, tissue paper painting, and bingo. A big thank you to these amazing teachers for turning a rainy day into a memorable one!

Come check out Dorothy's Roadtrip on May 14th at 2pm and 7pm in the Henry School Gym.

Whether you were sprinting, jumping, or cheering on your classmates, you represented our school with pride. Great job to everyone who took part!

There will be a varsity football meeting for students in grades 8-11 on Wednesday, May 14th at 8am in Florence. There will be a bus leaving from Henry at 7:45. If you have questions, please get ahold of Coach Obele.

Wondering Why Henry?
Let’s hear from another Henry family: the Mitchell’s.
"When it came to choosing a school for our son, my husband was very adamant about him going to Henry. I wasn’t sure about it until I walked into the school and felt that small-town, cozy feeling. We have had a great few years here, and he has been blessed with amazing teachers!
When asked “why Henry?”, the first things that come to mind are small class sizes, teachers that care about every student as an individual to help them succeed, parent-teacher communication, and the fact that I’ve never had to force my son to school because he enjoys it here.
We did preschool screening in another district and Henry this last year. In the other district, I left feeling like my son would just be put on a chart, and that’s where he would stay. There were no questions about history, why, or the progress he has made. As for Henry, they asked the questions, and they got an understanding. I left there feeling no doubt that my son will be loved, protected and cared for, and most importantly, that he will excel!
So if you’re looking for an inviting place for your children to enjoy, a place that will love and care for your children, and a place where your children will succeed, you should choose Henry School District.”
Thank you, Mitchell family, for trusting Henry with your boys and for sharing your why!
